About the event

Autumn Equinox

Autumn Equinox, a time of balance, gratitude, and reflection on the summers harvest.

The fall equinox, marking the transition to autumn, has been celebrated for centuries across various cultures, symbolizing balance and the harvest season.

Throughout history, the fall equinox has been a pivotal moment in agricultural societies, marking the end of the growing season and the beginning of preparations for winter. It has been recognized in various calendars and cultures, influencing rituals and celebrations that emphasize gratitude for the harvest and the balance of nature.

Also commonly called Mabon, the Autumn Equinox emphasizes balance, reflection, and gratitude. It is a time to honour the fruits of personal and literal harvests, whether crops, work achievements, or personal growth. It is also time to start slowing down in preparation for slower, cooler days of Winter.
